Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides: A Downtown Christmas Today
“Oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh!” Come downtown today, Saturday, December 12th and enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride through historic downtown Evansville hosted by the Downtown Alliance.
From 4:30 pm – 7 pm, this 15 minute ride will take you through Evansville’s historic district featuring street musicians with a stop at the “Neon Running Dog” at the newly restored Greyhound Terminal. The ride begins and ends at the Kempf Family Park at Fourth and Main Streets with free hot chocolate and Christmas and holiday music. Take advantage of the downtown shops and restaurants as the holiday festivities continue into the evening. Proceeds support the ongoing efforts of the Downtown Alliance
