Holiday World Recreate A Memory Winner – When Grandpa Was A Lad

All summer long we are giving you the chance to recreate any memories you've made at Holiday World and Splashin' Safari over the last 66 years.  Today's photo memory winner is Joshua Stratton from Evansville.

Here's what Joshua had to say about the picture:

This is a photo of my grandpa taken at Santa Claus Land in about 1946. I think he was 5 years old in the picture. I bet you haven't received any photos this old. LOL Notice how the Santa Claus statue was on it's original pedestal at the time. My grandpa died when he was 42 years old from a heart attack, and I was the only one of his 7 grandkids he ever knew. I know he can't recreate this picture, but I'm sure he'd love for me, his first grandchild, to be able to take his place for him.
