Holiday World Evacuated Due to Suspicious Threat [UPDATE]

Breaking news this evening.  Holiday World is being evacuated by the Indiana State Police.

***Update*** The park was given the all clear to return to normal operations by the Indiana State Police. The ISP had evacuated the park after employees found a suspicious backpack left on the grounds. The ISP have taken the backpack to be examined.  Holiday World will return to normal operating hours today.***

According to Holiday World's Twitter feed, guests and employees are being evacuated in cooperation with the Indiana State Police due to "a threat."  All guests and employees are reportedly safe at this time.  In addition to keeping park guests safe, Holiday World is apologizing for any inconvenience and offering this evening's guests free tickets for a return trip to the park.  Also, park goers who stored items in lockers are asked to wait under the canopies at the front gate.
