Here’s How to Submit Your Photos to Project Reveal’s Embrace Your Body Campaign

Project Reveal’s Embrace Your Body campaign is returning this year and will include four presenting photographers and a community exhibit.

Last year’s event featured a photo exhibit displaying the vision of what embracing your body meant to Project Reveal creator Stacey Godbold and was photographed by Erin McCracken, on the board of directors for PR. Here’s the photos that were displayed: EYB

This year we want to get different perspectives and styles on what “embrace your body” means to others. Professional and amateur photographers, submit up to three photographs by August 27 for the opportunity to be chosen for our Embrace Your Body Community Exhibit. Images must be a minimum of 8x10 and please be tasteful. Awards will be presented by the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana. Submit your photo here.

More about Project Reveal:

PR was created as a way for women to help other women by sharing their experience, strength and hope during a defining time in their lives. It includes written, photo and video “reveals” on the website and now a weekly television show airing at 7:30 p.m. Thursday’s on WNIN. The goal is by having women open up about those moments in their lives they will inspire and help others.

The Embrace Your Body is PR’s signature fundraiser. For last year’s event 35 women and several children allowed our professional photographer to capture their natural beauty to encourage other women to embark on the journey to embracing their bodies. About 250 people attended the gallery event and we expect 300 this year.
