Henderson Cops Connecting with Kids Chili Lunch

You are invited for a delicious chili lunch in Henderson for a great cause! As you may know, the Henderson Police Department will be joining the Cops Connecting With Kids Program that began with the Evansville Police Department. The goal of the group is to establish better relationships with children and students in the community. One of the big events the Evansville group holds is a trip to Walt Disney World each year. This is a tradition that the Henderson Police Department wants to add for the students in the Henderson County School District.

The Henderson Police Department will be sponsoring eight Henderson children with an all expenses paid trip to Disney world in 2019 as part of the Cops Connecting With Kids Program. These trips are rather expensive, and in order to be able to afford to take these kids on a trip of a lifetime, the HPD will be hosting several fundraisers to collect money for the trip. Their next big fundraising event will be a chili lunch. The lunch will be at the Henderson FOP lodge located at 1740 N Green St, Henderson, KY on Saturday, October 20 at 12 PM – 3 PM.
