Yesterday Andrea Aydelott Hoffman posted a heart wrenching letter on Facebook that her 13- year old son wrote to enter a contest, but he never ended up sending it in, and it's a letter to Jason Aldean that will make you tear up! I know the tri-state has done some amazing things! So let's get together and make this kids wish come true!

*** UPDATE!!!! Susan G. Komen of Evansville reached out to us, they were able to get ahold of Jason Aldean's people and get Andrea and her son to see the concert, and meet and greets! ****

Here's what she posted on Facebook:

This is a letter that Corbin J. Hoffman wrote to enter a contest through Komen. Jason Aldean honored a survivor and guest on his last tour. When we found out my cancer had returned he never submitted it. It does not matter that he never sent it in, because no concert or anywhere I could go on this Earth could make me feel like reading this makes me feel.

'My name is Corbin Hoffman. I am only 13 and can't write it good enough to tell about my mom all I can say is she is very special.
It's not a big deal if I don't win this contest and we can't go to his concert. But please send this to Jason Aldean.

I am nobody special but my mom is. I know you are lots of people's hero. But mine is my mom and she needs a Cure. Thank you for helping me try to save my mom's life. Please don't stop raising money for The Race for the Cure. Last year my mom showed me a picture of you in a shirt that said hope after someone laughed cause I had a breast cancer shirt on and I'm a boy. Sometimes I worry if mom feels scared or sad. I can't tell cause she is always happy and smiling. She has been in remission for a few months. We are gonna celebrate this year at the The Race in Evansville Indiana. I raise $500 last year but trying to raise $1,000 this year you've raised a bunch of money and if we add mine with it we might be closer to finding the cure. Since you seem to be a big deal maybe we could work together. Where people come watch you sing I could see if Shelia and Rachel could help me make a booth and take donations. That might work and even if people don't give money I could tell them about my mom and ask them to pray.
Somebody told me I had to be 18 to enter this contest. But she might not have 5 years to wait. I don't know how I will get this letter to you but if you reading this here is a picture of my mom and 3year old sister Josie. Please keep helping find a cure but praying for her is what we need most.

Thank You
Corbin Hoffman'

We really hope we can get Mr. Aldean to see this! And we will be here sending prayers and positive thoughts our way to Andrea and her family!
