The heavy snow has arrived in the Tri-State and will continue this morning. Travel is not recommended, at least until the heaviest snow has stopped by this afternoon. The heavy snow we have now will taper off to afternoon snow showers and will remain windy, which means drifting snow could be a big problem today. The snow on the ground will stick around for the next couple of days. If you don't need to be out this morning - don't. There is a thin layer of ice under the snow. Again, travel is not recommended. We will keep you posted.
