George Strait's farewell tour is proving to be one for the ages -- from special guests to sell-out shows, it's not one to be missed. Now, before potentially hanging up his hat, the country icon has added yet another stop to his Cowboy Rides Away Tour.

Before his last stop June 7 in Arlington, Texas, the singer will head to Hidalgo, Texas and perform at State Farm Arena on June 5. Tickets for the Academy of Country Music's Entertainer of the Year go on sale May 2 at 10 am. That leaves four dates left before the cowboy really does ride away.

Strait's next date is May 23 at the home of the LSU Tigers. He'll be performing at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge as part of Bayou Country Superfest. For this festival, there are a ton of big names including Jason Aldean, Asleep At The Wheel, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Vince Gill, Faith Hill, Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert, and Martina McBride. Then he heads to Foxborough where he'll be joined by some very special guests. Tim McGraw and his wife Hill will join the retiring country singer for this date.

George Strait Cowboy Rides Away 2014 Tour Dates:
