If you’re looking for some fun things that your family can do this weekend, look no further! I have compiled a list of ten things that are fun and family friendly, right here in the Tri-State!

Price: Free admission (bring cash for rides, food, games, etc.)
Grounds open Thursday from 5-9 PM, Friday and Saturday from 5-10 PM serving cafeteria style home cooked meals from scratch each night from 5-7:30 PM.
Carnival rides, games for all ages, silent auction, quilt raffle, food booths, and more!
Come walk or run with a shelter dog at every Saturday at 8:00 am. Meet in the VHS rear lobby to pick up a dog and then head to Garvin Park. Participants actually walking the dogs must be 18+, but children & strollers are welcome to tag along.
Enjoy Art, Live Music, Beautiful Architecture, Street Performers, Delicious Food and Drink Samplings as you peruse through Art Galleries, Historic Buildings and Unique Boutique and Retail Spaces.
Price: FREE but you must purchase tickets to ride.
Boom Squad’s BoomFest End of School Year Carnival is going on all week through Saturday. It’s fun for the entire family. Beer Garden, Rides & Games, Food trucks, and Performances by multiple drum lines Saturday, June 3rd at 1 pm.
This weekend, in Indiana and Kentucky, residents do not need a fishing license or a trout/salmon stamp to fish the state’s public waters. Check out some of the Southern Indiana public fishing areas here.

Looking for some family bonding time? 4 A Better Chandler will be hosting three fun events this weekend at Chandler Town Park that you might like to take part in! This includes a Cinnamon Roll Sale, Free Fishing Tournament, and the Hoopla! Hula Hoop-a-thon.
Stop by the Evansville Museum for Free Friday! The Museum will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. that evening. On top of everything the museum has to offer, there will be a Free Friday Open Activity Lab that is a fun, family-friendly activity from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Friday After 5 in Downtown Owensboro is a summer-long series of free outdoor concerts held every Friday with entertainment for everyone in the family!
This Friday:Kenergy and Big Rivers Electric present “Caribou”, The “Aqauaducks” on the Don Moore Party at the Pier, “King’s Highway” in the Atmos Energy Courtyard, “Samuel Flynn” on the Overlook and fun at the Kroger Street Fair.
