Five Times EPD Went Above and Beyond the Call of Duty!

Today is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. In Evansville we are very lucky to have Evansville's finest keeping us safe.  As a thank you to EPD and all that they do in the community, here's 5 times they went above and beyond!

1) This time EPD rescued a baby from a hot car on Evansville's west side.

2) The time they spread Christmas cheer in order to get more toy donations for 911 Gives Hope for the Holidays!

3) What about this time when they shared their love of the force with local Star Wars fans during the premier of The Last Jedi!

4) The time they made a young boys dreams of being a police officer come true!

5) And finally what about that time (that happens every year) where they get into a boxing ring, and duke it out with firefighters all to support local charities!

These are just a few of the many great examples the great work in the community the Evansville Police Department does. While most of these were fun, we understand that EPD protects this community. They go to their job every single day, to make sure that Evansville is a safe place, and we are so thankful to have them in our community. I don't know about you, but I'd have to say EPD is the best of the best!
