Over the years, there have been numerous Holiday movies. Since it is that time of the year, I have comprised a list of my top 5 favorite Christmas movies of all time. Throughout the days leading up to the big day, I will share those movies with you in descending order.

Number 1- Jingle All The Way

I'm sure many of you are shaking your heads at this moment, but this is my favorite Christmas movie of all time. Arnold Schwarzenegger is one of my favorites. This film shows the struggle of trying to find that one Christmas present that everyone seems to want. While I realize this is a little out there and unrealistic, remember, Christmas Vacation is a little out there and unrealistic too! I absolutely love watching Jingle All The Way, however, when I watch it, I always tend to quote a certain line from the movie...this makes me laugh every time:

I am sure you have seen this movie a few times, so no need to give you a play by play of the entire film, but here are a few fun facts about Jingle All The Way courtesy of IMDB:

  • The Giant Santa in this film is of course WWE Superstar The Big Show.
  • Both Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jake Lloyd have played slaves and robots. Arnold Schwarzenegger played Conan in "Conan the Barbarian", in that film, Conan is enslaved as a boy and Schwarzenegger played The Terminator in "The Terminator" films, in those films The Terminator is a cyborg from the future and Jake Lloyd played Anakin Skywalker in "Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace", in that film Anakin Skywalker is an enslaved boy who later becomes a Jedi and the evil robotic Sith Lord Darth Vader.
  • You can actually buy official Turbo Man action figures on Ebay.
  • The story is based on the 1980s shopping frenzy over the Cabbage Patch dolls.
  • Chris Columbus wanted Joe Pesci to play Myron, but he was deemed too short next to Arnold Schwarzenegger.
