The Tri-State always makes the best of July 4th with some of the best fireworks shows around. Here's a list of some of the most spectacular shows you can take the family to this year!

We invite you to the riverfront in downtown Henderson on July 4th for delicious food, children’s activities, terrific music and topping it off with an outstanding fireworks show! Since 2002, Independence Bank and the Downtown Henderson Partnership have worked closely to provide the Henderson community with a fabulous 4th of July fireworks show!

Food vendors will be provided by Rex’s Barbecue, R&L Concessions, Kona Ice & Kettle Corn. The food vendors will open at 5:30 P.M.

The children’s activities will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in Audubon Mill Park on the Henderson Riverfront. The activities include Lewis D. Chaney Magical Entertainer, Ultimate Video Game Party, a petting zoo provided by Equestrian Enterprises and pony rides will also be available for $4.00.

On Saturday, July 4th thousands will flock to Downtown Evansville to celebrate Independence Day on Evansville’s spacious riverfront.

Festivities will begin at 6:00 P.M.. with food vendors along Riverside Drive selling hamburgers, hotdogs, lemon shake-ups, ice-cream, kettle corn, giant tenderloins, funnel cakes, nachos, brat wurst, Chicago-style hot dogs, chicken & steak fajitas, and a variety of refreshments. Free to Attend

It’s an old fashioned community Independence Day Celebration, complete with “summer social” types of games, lots of food and a community concert by the Old Dam Band on Friday, July 3rd 2015 with Rain date, Sunday, July 5th. This year will feature a Boat Parade as well.   This is a great way to teach your kids about what it means to be an American. Its not about the fireworks, it is about celebrating our freedom.

On July 4th from 5-10 PM, join Downtown Owensboro for an incredible display of fireworks from the uniquely COMBINED CITY & COUNTY recognition of our nations independence and  Daviess County’s 200th birthday.

The event features live music on stages at McConnell Plaza and on the RiverPark Center patio featuring Heath & Molly, Electric Time Machine and the Owensboro Symphony Orchestra.

Help kick-off the activities with the Kids Bike Parade at 5:00 pm. Kids 10 and younger are encouraged to decorate any non-motorized vehicle (bike, wagon, stroller, scooter, etc.) to show their patriotic spirit and parade down Veterans Blvd. All kids participating will receive a goody bag and free food and drink at the 4th Fest inside the Owensboro Convention Center following the parade.

Fireworks begin at 9:15 pm over the Ohio River accompanied by music from the Owensboro Symphony Orchestra.
