The University of Southern Indiana History Department will host former USI student, Clint Vaught, owner of local tattoo studio, Cross & Crown, for his presentation “Applied History: Tattooing in the Heartland.”Vaught’s talk will focus on the history of tattooing practices in Southern Indiana and the surrounding areas, with a focus on tattoo artists working in Evansville from the 1920’s through the 1950’s.
