Cadiz, KY: Retailers in the Historic Downtown Shopping District have finalized their plans for the upcoming Small Business Saturday, November 29th, the Saturday after Thanksgiving. “Last year was our first year to host Small Business Saturday and it was very successful for downtown businesses” says the organizer, Susan Sheley manager of the Cadiz Comfort Zone in Downtown.

Saturday, November 29th from 10 am – 4 pm, Downtown businesses will be hosting their second Small Business Saturday, “Christmas Cookie Walk”. Christmas cookies will be available at each downtown business. Stroll through the shops and you will be given a Christmas cookie at each retailer. When the day is over you will have collected a box full of cookies to take home with you to start the holiday season and your Christmas shopping may even be done.

Downtown businesses are in charge of their own in store events to include artists in the shops demonstrating their art. Along with our cherished Antique Stores you will find handcrafted merchandise, Kentucky Crafted artists, Kentucky Proud products, Good Home Cooking, Scrapbooking, Salons, A Tea Room, A Cupcake shop, Fried pies and more.
