• The kickoff breakfast will be held at Wesselman’s Shelter 1 on Monday, August 3rd at 9 a.m. Mayor Lloyd Winnecke will be reading the Proclamation.

Communities, businesses, and law enforcement across the nation come together every year on the first Tuesday in August to celebrate National Night Out. The event is designed to
• heighten crime and drug prevention awareness
• generate support for and participation in local anti-crime efforts
• strengthen neighborhood and police partnerships
• send a message to criminals that our community is fighting back
*Food, refreshments, and activities are all FREE to the public.
Educational booths are set up to provide our citizens with valuable information to combat crime.
