Evansville Police Investigating Halloween Eve Double Murder

The Evansville Police Department is asking for the public's help during their investigation of a Halloween Eve double murder.

Police were called to 213 E Maryland Monday night around 10:30PMfor a report of shots fired. Upon their arrival, officers found two victims inside the home with gunshot wounds.

Both victims were transported to local hospitals but neither survived their injuries.

The Vanderburgh County Coroner identified the victims as Dewone Broomfield and Mary Woodruff.
