Tired of your kids showing off their "artistic talents" on the walls of your house? The Evansville Parks Department is giving them the opportunity to put those creative skills to use on something that's OK to paint on, an actual canvas.

The Department is hosting a Kid's Art Class for ages 5 through 11 at the C.K. Newsome Center on Walnut Street in downtown Evansville on December 11th beginning at 4:30 p.m. Kids will be shown how to paint a "winter scene" while also learning an "art element."

Registration is open now through December 5th with a cost of $10 per child. Credit card payments can be made over the phone by calling 812-435-2536, or in person at the Parks Department office inside the C.K. Newsome Center anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
