It took all five games of the five game championship series, but when it was all said and done, the Evansville Otters beat the River City Rascals 1-0 in front of the home crowd at Bosse Field to win the 2016 Frontier League crown!

The series began last Tuesday at home with an Otters win. The dropped game two at Bosse Field on Wednesday before heading to over to O'Fallon, Missouri for games three and four. The Otters took game three on Saturday by a score of 13-7 before dropping game four on Sunday 5-7 to even the series.

This is the second time in franchise history the Otters have hoisted the trophy. Their first was 10 years ago in 2006.

Congratulations to Coach Andy McCauley and the entire Otters staff on a terrific season!
