Evansville Museum Exhibit to feature World War II in Legos
Visiting museums over the summer vacation was something my family really enjoyed and loved to do. It was fun and educational. And that's what you'll find at our own hometown Evansville Museum!
On Friday, June 17 through Sunday, June 19, bring the whole family to see the coolest exhibit of World War II in Legos from Brickmania. This year’s presentation will include:
- The Battle of the Bulge
- The USS Missouri
- The USS Nicholas
- Brandenburg Gate 1945
- Six LEGO Mosaic Portraits of important World War 2 personages
- Battleships, tanks, gunners, and flyers
(Here's an interesting fact: Legos were invented in 1958 - 13 years after World War II had ended.)
Tickets - $5 Museum Members | $10 General Admission / available at the door
Open - Fri., June 17, Sat., June 18 - 11am - 5pm; Sun. June 19 - noon - 5pm
Admission includes a free Koch Immersive Theater voucher good for entry to a special showing of the LEGO Movie or any regularly scheduled KIT movies.
