The Tuesday night Grand Ole Opry was packed with stars and legends, including 5 Opry members.  From Dierks Bentley to Lorrie Morgan and Pam Tillis, the lineup made for a solid and entertaining night.  Also on stage was a rising star celebrating the release of her first album.

Maggie Rose has been in Nashville working at putting out music for 5 years.  Much of that time was spent as Margaret Durante, her given name, which is how I met her, about 2 and a half years ago.  Professional identity aside, there is a new confidence and comfort I see in Maggie now, that I'm not sure was there for Margaret and I believe she is on the track to being a star!

After Maggie's single 'I Ain't Your Mama' reached the top 30, the album she'd been waiting for was finished and is now in stores, featuring 'Mama' and her new single, 'Better.'  Pick up a copy of 'Cut To Impress' now and check out what we talked about backstage at the Opry below.
