For the 4th year in a row, legendary performer, Louise Mandrell is hosting a dinner show at Gaylord Opryland Resort for "A Country Christmas."  This will be the last year of the show, before a new act takes over.  In another new show produced by Louise with help from her retired sister, Barbara, Louise sings fun Christmas tunes, along with some traditional religious songs, and of course mixes in some funny stories about her family.  During the hour-long show, Louise plays five different instruments and flies through the air in a dance number that looks like something that could be from WWE Monday Night Raw.  Don't worry, she came out of the tosses unscathed and closed the show to a crowd of happy people.  Even before the show, we were treated to an awesome meal prepared by Gaylord's master chefs.  It included beef short ribs, stuffed chicken breast, butternut squash with brown sugar and cinnamon streusel, mixed veggies, potatoes gratin, dinner salad with a white balsamic dressing, and a fruit and nut orzo.  Top all of that off with a chocolate cherry parfait, and those treats alone were worth the price of admission.  I highly recommend you check out the show on its last run at Gaylord Opryland this year.
