This year's 4th of July celebration posed a danger in many areas in and around Evansville because of the fire danger as the result of extremely dry conditions.

In fact, fireworks were prohibited for the most part in the Evansville area with the exception of some city displays. In San Diego last night, an incredible reminder about fireworks safety and what could go terribly wrong.

San Diego was all set for its Mission Bay fireworks display when the unexpected happened - a computer glitch that caused all of the fireworks to go off at exactly the same time! As a result, it took about 17 seconds to go through all of the fireworks, which should have taken about 18 minutes. As scary as this was, there is no denying that it really did look pretty cool.

The crowd loved it!
