Nathan is an inquisitive and outgoing 8 year-old boy! He is full of energy and could play with his Legos and building blocks all day. With his family, Nathan enjoys going swimming and spending time outside! Like most boys his age, he loves just running around and digging in the dirt!
Nathan suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a recessive X-linked form of muscular dystrophy, affecting around 1 in 3,600 boys, which results in muscle degeneration. The disorder is caused by a mutation in the dystrophin gene, the largest gene located on the human X chromosome, which codes for the protein dystrophin, an important structural component within muscle tissue that provides structural stability to the dystroglycan complex of the cell membrane.
When deciding on his wish Nathan really reached for the stars and ended up choosing an amazing wish: to go to Walt Disney World® Resort. Nathan knew this would be the perfect trip for him because it would allow him to ride tons of fun rides, go to Legoland, and more! Nathan is ready to get out of the cold weather and have an amazing time at Disney with his family!
The Walt Disney Company will provide theme park tickets and other perks to Nathan and his family as part of their overall relationship with the Make-A-Wish
Foundation® but we need help to fund the rest of the family's vacation.

Make-A-Wish® of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana wants to send Nathan to Florida but to grant wishes of local sick children, we need to raise some funds! What better way than to go GOLFING!
