Dolly Parton’s ‘Jolene’ Like You’ve NEVER Heard it Before! [VIDEO]

Dolly Parton is coming to the Ford Center on August 10, and it's put me in the mood to listen to Dolly, but I found a version of 'Jolene' like you've never heard it before! 

My favorite Dolly Parton song is 'Jolene' which, when I really think about the lyrics all I want to say is "girl, if your man is on the edge of leaving you because this Jolene chick has pretty red hair and green eyes, then do you really want that shallow man anyways??"  But I digress hahaha I still like the song, even if the lyrics get me a little salty.

But I was looking up Jolene to take a listen, and I came across a version of the song by a band called Me First, and the Gimme Gimmes... whatever that means!

But you know me, I'm personally a little more of a rocker at heart, so I have to admit I was digging it! Even if I still do love the original by miss Dolly!

On a side note, I wish Dolly Parton was my cool aunt.  Don't you think she would be the best family member ever?? She's just so sweet and genuine!
