Job Description
Perform repairs to Caterpillar and allied equipment at both Whayne Power Systems facility and customer locations. Install new equipment and component parts. Perform standard work assignments, without supervision, according to needs of customer and company. Will be assigned a company service truck and may be dispatched from home or company shop as required.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior experience servicing and repairing Electric Power Generation (EPG) equipment preferred
• 2-year tech school graduate preferred
• Willingness to learn and be trained
• Excellent interpersonal skills, and written and verbal communication skills
• Able to communicate with team members and customers
• Good working knowledge of computers, spreadsheets, word processing programs
• Highly self-directed
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment with rapidly changing priorities and demands
• Currently have a CDL or be able to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License
• Prefer certification of EPG training
