Dierks Bentley will soon be a star on the History Channel ... sort of. The 'Drunk on a Plane' singer has written and recorded the theme song to a new show on the network titled 'Biker Battleground Phoenix.'

Coincidentally, the new series takes place in Phoenix, where Bentley was born. He's also a motorcycle enthusiast -- and the show will feature custom motorcycles. Bentley wrote 'Ride On,' which will be the show's theme song.

The History Channel is helping fans get revved up for the show's premiere by giving a little glimpse behind-the-scenes of the show via a music video of sorts. Bentley's face opens the clip, and he's ready to "see what happens" for the recording session. The video features cacti, big bikes in addition to the well-loved country singer.

"Give me a highway I can ride on/ Miles and miles I get high on that/ Don't bother leaving the light on/ 'Cause we ain't ever coming back, we ain't ever coming back," he sings in his new song fit for a hog ride.

Big biker names Paul Yaffe of Paul Yaffe Originals/Bagger Nation, Len Edmonson of Azzkikr Customs, Kody McNew of Voodoo Bikeworks, Brian Jenkins of Hatred Customs and John Shope of Dirty Bird Concepts will all appear on the series, which will let viewers see what it's really like in a garage and how stiff the competition to be the best really is.

'Biker Battleground Phoenix' will start its engines officially on July 1 at 10PM ET on the History Channel. The theme song, which was co-written and produced by Jingle Punks, will be cut short for the show itself.
