Darius Rucker Announces 2013 True Believers Tour

It’s that time of year again! With spring so close that you can almost feel the warm air blowing, country stars are preparing to head out on the road — and Darius Rucker is joining in on the fun. This week, Rucker announced the dates for his 2013 True Believers Tour.
The tour will kick off in Estero, Fla. on May 9 and stop in 20 cities before closing on June 30 in Clarkston, Mich. Rodney Atkins, Justin Moore and Jana Kramer will be on hand at select dates to open for the ‘Come Back Song’ hitmaker.
“This is going to be an exciting summer,” Rucker said in a statement. “I’ve got an album I can’t wait for y’all to hear and I’m hitting the road with a great group of artists. We’re gonna have a good time!”
Rucker will be treating fans to tunes from all three of his albums, including his five No. 1 hits and his current single, ‘Wagon Wheel.’
If you want to score tickets to one of the tour dates and give back to a good cause, Rucker is auctioning off two pairs of tickets to each show through his website. The proceeds from the auction will go to the ACM’s Lifting Lives charity and Metro Nashville’s Keep the Music Playing program.
Lifting Lives raises funds through the power of music and bestows them on worthy non-profit organizations like the Holston Home in Tennessee where Atkins was adopted as a child. Keep the Music Playing has funded music labs and more than 4,000 instruments in 80 Nashville schools.

Major National Anthem Flub Before Hockey Game
The national Anthem is one of the toughest songs to sing that there is. There have been some great versions and some really bad versions over the years - Rosanne - just sayin'. We had some great versions at the Ford Center during the recent Icemen season and just the other night, a little boy did a killer version of the anthem before the Otters game at Bosse Field that was awesome... but sometimes.
How Do You Pronounce GIF? The Creator Says We’re All Wrong Because It’s Pronounced ‘JIF’
There are hundreds and thousands of formats in today's computer world, but the GIF format stands alone and was even named the "word of the year" in 2012. GIF stands for 'Graphic Interchange Format'...whatever the heck that means, but it has changed computer animation as we know it. It has always been pronounced with a hard "g", like gift and apparently, that is absolutely WRONG...who knew?

Trace Adkins Accidentally Recorded an Album of Love Songs
'Love Will …' is the new collection of love songs from Trace Adkins. It's a project that makes complete sense, as few men in country music can match the singer's romantic baritone. Adkins says he didn't intend to make the project he ended up with, however.
