Tuesday the match up was between Champion, Love and Theft “Angel Eyes” vs. Challenger, Tim Dugger “Way Past My Beer Time. By an overwhelming 84% margin, Dugger takes over as new champion, to face today’s challenger, Josh Turner “Time Is Love.”

Tim Dugger has been performing since he was about seven years old in Alabama. He’s been a big regional success, especially with racing fans. Tim brings his first single, a honky tonk anthem, “Way Past My Beer Time,” into the ring as the champion for the Country Whuppin’!

Since headlining our Taste of Country Concert last September, Josh Turner has been a little quiet. After releasing three singles from his album, ‘Haywire,’ including the number one single, “Why Don’t We Just Dance,” he is back with the first single off his soon to be released new album. The challenging song today is ‘Time Is Love.’

Tri-State Gives Moore Mediathon Raises $26,000 For Red Cross

Wednesday from 6am-6pm, all the media outlets pooled their efforts to raise funds for victims of the Moore, OK tornado victims and with the help of Tri-State donors, we were able to raise $26,016 just in phone-in donations.

Dozens of people including children were killed after a massive tornado tore a swath of destruction through an area outside Oklahoma City yesterday. In fact, it was such a terrible scene that local KFOR reporter Lance West broke down while reporting the news.
