For the first time on the Country Whuppin' brought to you by Cleaver's, a champion defends the title for a second time.  Seemingly the underdog going head-to-head with veteran, Josh Turner's "Time Is Love," newcomer, Tim Dugger and his debut single, "Way Past My Beer Time" stands tall with a margin of 70%.   Dugger spends his second time as champion, to face today's challenger, with the third single from his ACM nominated album, "Chief," it's Eric Church with "Springsteen."

Champion - Tim Dugger "Way Past My Beer Time"

Tim Dugger has been performing since he was about seven years old in Alabama. He's been a big regional success, especially with racing fans. Tim brings his first single, a honky tonk anthem, "Way Past My Beer Time," into the ring as the champion for the Country Whuppin'!

Challenger - Eric Church "Springsteen"

After over 6 years of putting out singles, Eric Church finally achieved his number one single with "Drink In My Hand."  Now he hopes to build on that, as he embarks on his first headlining tour with Brantley Gilbert.  The third single from his critically acclaimed, "Chief" album is a tribute to the younger years and the music that provided the soundtrack.  In Church's case it was the Boss that blared on the radio.  He explains this in the challenger for this edition of the Country Whuppin', "Springsteen."
