This Texas girl has moderate success with her debut single ‘Ex Old Man.’ While some criticized that song of being too cliche’, Kelly has gone a different route on this one. When you see an artists influences listed as Grand Ole Opry veterans like Vince Gill and Marty Stuart, you really know what to expect. That is, until you see that the influences also include ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Aerosmith. Charlie Worsham blends those things into his songwriting and performing and what you get is his debut single that sounds like something that could have been on a Steve Wariner or Restless Heart Album in the early 90′s. May 19, 2013 4:00 AM As, you know, Jon refers to me as 'The Cat Lady' on the air. Just because I adopted my first cat a year ago and have since acquired 7 more, doesn't make me a cat lady. Or does it??? ;-) Ok, I know it would appear that I, if I'm not the cat lady NOW, I am well on my way. In the past year, I have become very in tune with cats and all of their personalities. Maybe that's why I love them so much and they, in turn, are drawn to me. lol

May 18, 2013 12:00 PM I have had my fair share of run ins with deer. Living in the country, it's just a way of life. You must, during the early morning hours and evening/night hours, constantly be on alert and have your eyes scanning the sides of the road.
Once, on a trip back to Indiana from Tennessee, a deer came inches away from slamming through the passenger side window of my car, injuring my son. Luckily, the deer hit the front of the windshield and rolled off the hood of the car. But in the case of this bus, it came right through the window and went crazy!!
