After her run with Trick Pony, it looked like Heidi Newfield was on her way to the top with her first solo single, “Johnny and June.” While that song was critically acclaimed, not much came from Heidi to follow, due to record label messes in Nashville. Now Heidi is back with a song originally claimed by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, but when they let go of it, Heidi grabbed the song that spoke of her own life. Will it win? That vote is yours.
