When Brantley Gilbert introduced himself to the country world with “Kick It In The Sticks” a couple years ago, I’m not sure country programmers knew what to make of the gruff vocals and hard guitar riffs. Now that he’s had a couple number ones for Jason Aldean and now two of his own, Gilbert is putting the single out once again to try and show us what he’s all about. It worked for Chris Young and “Voices,” but will it work for Brantley? It’s your vote.
