Country Star Cancels Show, Taken To Hospital; Another Fills In With Solo Acoustic Performance

A well-known country artist had to cancel a show in Bowling Green, Kentucky this  weekend, and wound up hospitalized. Another star wound up filling in at the last  minute, performing a rare, intimate solo acoustic show.

LeAnn Rimes was all  set to perform a sold-out show at the opening of the new Southern Kentucky  Performing Arts Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. But according to the Bowling  Green Daily News, she came down with the flu and had to cancel her  appearance at the last minute. It was so bad LeAnn wound up in the hospital with  an IV in her arm.

She Tweeted that they pumped her so full of fluids she couldn’t get her wedding ring on.
