‘Contagion’ Billboards Made From Actual Bacteria – Really [Video]

Bacteria billboard
You Tube

Talk about ‘viral’ marketing, the producers of the new movie ‘Contagion’ have gone to a completely different level to promote the new film. ‘Contagion’ is sure to scare people into oblivion and I’m sure we will see people walking around wearing masks just in case. The producers of the film came up with the idea to use actual bacteria to create the billboards. They hired a group of microbiologists and immunologists to make the boards. Once on display, it took a little time for the bacterias to grow and spread to create the film’s title. You can watch the process for yourself below which is kind of gross, but very creatve.
