Despite losing the home and season opener to the visiting Detroit Lions on Sunday, Indianapolis Colts' quarterback, Andrew Luck, and ageless kicker, Adam Vinatieri both made their marks in the NFL record books.

According to the Colts' Assistant Director of Communications, Matt Conti, Luck became the second fastest QB to reach 15,000 career passing yards in their career.

Meanwhile, Vinatieri became the fifth player in League history to reach the 600 field goals attempted mark.

The accolades for Vinatieri didn't stop there —

While both men no doubt would have preferred a win over the individual accomplishments, what they were able to do is certainly worth noting.
