It’s Valentine’s Day weekend and I couldn’t pass up this opportunity to share one of those moments in my life that was so very sweet, loving, and thoughtful.

I drove down to Nashville to visit my son at college who was attending Vanderbilt at the time.  His assignment was to perform a couple of guitar solos for a major part of his grade in front of his professors, students, friends and family.  Before we entered the auditorium,

Eric, my son, turned to me and said that he had had a special surprise for me.  Standing around me was his fraternity Phi Mu Alpha. Then, Eric and his buddies broke out in a song called, “A Serenade to a Girl”.  At first, I was surprised and embarrassed!  But then, I couldn't help from smiling and laughing, and then the tears began to flow.  Eric, took my hand, got down on his knee and sang “…the one we love and always will adore, our voices raise in singing, a tribute to our girl….”  Talk about how much we love our kids! This was a moment in my life I will never forget.  #feelinglovedblessedandgrateful
