College Freshmen Will Make You Feel Old After Seeing This

College is back in session for most students. Incoming freshmen were born in 1999. It's time to feel old with a list of things that you will remember, but they won't...

Beloit College just released its annual "Mindset List," where they figure out some of the stuff that today's college freshmen have either never known or always known. This list is pretty eye-opening for those of us who actually remember the 1990's. Here are a few of the facts that just might make you feel old...

1.  They barely know any phones except smartphones...which means that they think a payphone is an artifact.

2.  They have never used a floppy disk, and probably never bought CDs.

3.  They've never known a world where they couldn't order anything they needed from Amazon . . . and get it in two days thanks to Amazon Prime.

4.  They've never known a world without "Pokemon".

5.  It is doubtful that they have ever used or heard the high-pitched whine of a dial-up modem.

6. They probably never had to look at an Encyclopedia thanks to Wikipedia...which apparently is becoming an accepted source by some professors.

7.  They only know Justin Timberlake as a solo artist.

8.  And they have only experienced Bill Clinton as Hillary's husband, not as president.

9. They are the last class to be born in the 1900s...out with the Millennials and in with Generation Z!

10. They have never known a world without emojis...whether it be the modern emojis or the old school : )
