CMA Fest Stadium Show Night 2

This week is the annual CMA Fest and we are fortunate enough to be in Nashville to cover all of the events! Along with free concerts throughout downtown Nashville and the Fan Fair X Exhibits at the Music City Center, a major highlight of the CMA Fest is the nightly Nissan Stadium concerts featuring the top acts in country music.

Here are some of the highlights in photos of night two:

Clint Black opened the show on Friday night and had the crowd laughing and singing along the whole time!

What can I say about Chris Stapleton's performance other than AMAZING?! He had everyone in the media suite on their feet. This is my second year in the media suite and the first time I have ever seen someone get this kind of reaction. This man is truly talented!

This was Sam Hunt's second time taking the Nissan Stadium stage and I must say it was much better than his first time. You should have heard how loud the place was as soon as the first couple of notes of "Take Your Time" began.

The first of two surprise performances, Chris Janson ROCKED the stage with "Buy Me A Boat," and that dude can play the heck out of a harmonica!

The second surprise of the night, Justin Moore singing "You Look Like I Need A Drink" before joining Chris Janson and Hank Williams Jr on "Born To Boogie."

Last night was the first time that I have ever seen Hank preform and it was AWESOME!!! There wasn't a person in that stadium that wasn't singing along to "Family Tradition!"

Finally, the always lovely Carrie Underwood wrapped up the show with a lot of her hits. She is just as good, if not better, on stage as she is on the radio!
