Chris Stapleton has done it again! His new music video for his song 'Fire Away' is nothing short of amazing...I will warn you, you may want to have some tissues ready when you watch it.

I will try not to give you any spoilers, but to sum up the video, it is about a young woman's battle with depression and her husband's commitment to help her through it.

It is kind of like a mini-movie with Chris playing a small role as a bar tender. You may recognize the husband and wife in the video from other movies/shows. Ben Foster (Lone Suvivor, X-Men: The Last Stand) plays the role of the husband in the video, while actress Margarita Levieva (Gina from The Blacklist) plays the role of the wife suffering from depression.

Chris Stapleton is hoping the video will bring attention to mental health awareness as he partners with The Campaign to Change Direction, which is an organization that focuses on mental heath awareness.

Many people know someone who has struggled with mental heath issues. It is a very serious matter, as you can see from the music video. The video itself is structured on the five signs of a potential mental health condition: Personality change, agitation, withdrawal, poor self-care, and hopelessness.

I have known a couple of people who lost their battle with depression, so I understand the seriousness of this video. If you or someone you know is struggling with depression, please know that there is hope out there. People want to help. Chris ends his video with a link to The Campaign to Change Direction for those who may want to learn more about how you can help fight depression. I urge anyone who feels hopeless to please check it out and understand that it can't rain forever, one day the sun will shine bright for you again.
