Evansville could have one another Chick-Fil-A location on the way! According to the Evansville Courier & Press, the ever busy fast food chain has filed to request a code variance on the west side of Evansville at the former Burger King location on the Lloyd Expressway.

According to the Evansville Courier & Press,

The request is to waive a city requirement for a landscaped parking lot island at the location. Waiving this requirement would allow Chick-Fil-A to maximize parking availability at the site, according to Area Plan Commission staff. The variance will be considered March 21 by the Board of Zoning Appeals.

If the request is approved this will be the fifth Chick-Fil-A location in Evansville. Other locations include the east side Cross Pointe location, Eastland Mall, on the campus of USI, and a limited service sales site on Main Street.

Will having another location here in the Tri-State be a good idea? I think so. I have never been by Chick-Fil-A when they weren't busy...except for Sundays. The drive-through is always packed, and for good reason! The customer service at Chick-Fil-A is unmatched, not to mention how delicious the food is! The new location on Evansville's west side will surely be a huge success!
