Celebrate Military Appreciation Month at Buffalo Wild Wings
May is Military Appreciation Month.
What better way to take advantage of it than by consuming mass amounts of Buffalo wings in one of the Tri-States best sports bars? Honestly, we can’t think of a better way to show our support to our friends and family in the military.
Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants are supporting the VFW Foundation’s Return the Favor campaign for the second year in a row. Return the Favor is an awareness and fundraising campaign to honor, celebrate and support active duty military members, veterans and their families. The following video will help you learn more about this campaign.
It is all part of the “Salute the Troops” program, in which participating locations will donate 10% of the total food and non-alcoholic beverage purchases for guests who present a Military ID, VFW Membership card or Return the Favor card.
The 10% donation goes back into the Return the Favor campaign, which offers financial assistance for housing, medical or basic assistance, sponsors “welcome home” and “send off” events to boost unit morale, and helps veterans of all ages navigate VA entitlement and disability claims.
“We’re proud to be paying tribute to our nation’s brave service men and women,” says Jeffrey Miller, the restaurant chain’s Director of Field Marketing. “And we believe our guests will leap at the opportunity to show their support, too.”
To show their thanks, the “Salute the Troops” program will be giving participating patrons a yellow wristband. Wearing the wristband into Buffalo Wild Wings anytime in May will allow you to donate again. In June, it entitles guests to 10% off of their food and non-alcoholic beverages purchases.
Buffalo Wild Wings has two locations in Evansville.
5405 Pearl Drive and 715 N. Green River Road.
