April 4, 2013 I kill myself in the gym at the Downtown Evansville YMCA everyday. I have finally gotten to the point where I feel pretty comfortable and confident with my workout. I even attempted a few pull-ups the other day that I haven't done since high school. I couldn't do very many and talk about a confidence buster - the baby in the below video crushed my self-esteem.

April 2, 2013 Most of us might think old age sucks, but I guess it's all in how you look at it. I am in my early 50s and it never ceases to amaze me how much I can hurt after doing the smallest acivity. Would someone please explain to me why you can't seem to do anything without grunting after the age of 45. Check out the two 90-year-olds in this video.

If you remember the underrated tune from about 10 years ago, 'Break Down Here,' a song I've heard more at karaoke than on the radio, then you'll remember the young artist who performed it, Julie Roberts. Last night, she swallowed her pride and attempted to get back in the spotlight with a tryout on NBC's 'The Voice.' It didn't go well.

April 1, 2013 OMG!!! One of the worst televised sports injuries EVER happened yesterday. During the 'Elite 8' game between Louisville and Duke, Louisville guard Kevin Ware, was on the defense, jumped to block a shot, landed on his leg, and suffered a COMPOUND fracture. Yes, that's when the bone comes THROUGH the skin. OUCH!!!
