Oasis Dementia Care, Evansville’s only adult day care community devoted exclusively to families confronting memory loss challenges, today opened its adult day care programs, activities and services! On the morning show today, Leslie and I were talking about Downtown Evansville and all of the increased activity thanks to the Deaconess GLVC basketball tournament that started today at the Ford Center. We got on the topic of what downtown needs in the absence of something like the GLVC tournament to bring people downtown.
Here we go again. Daylight Saving Time officially begins this Sunday at 2am, as we spring forward - and with the time change, comes the annual debate for changing Indiana's time zones. This debate has been raging for so long and nothing has been accomplished. So, why are we still debating this? Simple. Because everyone has a different opinion and nobody can agree.
Hoosiers have been getting ripped off by the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles, at least that appears to be the consensus of a class action lawsuit filed this morning in Marion Superior Court.
