A new season of 'The Voice' starts TONIGHT on NBC. One of last season's favorites was Cody Belew. Although a little eccentric, he won over the hearts of fans with his incredible vocals. If you wondered where he went, he has been song writing with our buddy, Meghan Linsey of the country duo Steel Magnolia.
During the show today, I let you know that Kasey Musgraves debut album, Same Trailer, Different Park, goes on sale TOMORROW! While doing some research about her, I discovered that she was a finalist on 'Nashville Star' back in 2007.
He was known as the "Jolly Green Giant" to country music fans around the world; Jack Greene has died at the age of 83 from complications related to Alzheimer's disease. Greene died in his sleep at his home in Nashville, according to a statement.

The first time I met Luke Bryan was six years ago when he came to Evansville to perform at Woody's. I had no idea who he was other than the fact the he had a song on the radio, his debut single, 'All My Friends Say,' that I really liked. Little did I know that, the artist I was about to meet would be a MEGA country STAR!

Carrie Underwood is on an incredible roll right now thanks in part to her current album, Blown Away. The first two singles, 'Good Girl' and the title track 'Blown Away' did very well for Carrie and established her as one of the top female vocalists in popular music today. It was announced that the Academy of Country Music Awards has chosen a replacement for Reba McEntire as Blake Shelton's co-host for the awards show. The ACM peeps aren't going to reveal the name of the chosen one, just yet. They are waiting for YOU, the fans, to Tweet about it first. 25,000 of you.
