A 17-year-old Henderson Central Academy student has been charged with possession of a weapon on school property.
14 News reports that the school resource officer was sent remove a couple of students from the classroom on "court issued pick up orders" and discovered the loaded .22 caliber pistol when patting down one of the students.

December 26, 2012 The heavy snow has arrived in the Tri-State and will continue this morning. Travel is not recommended, at least until the heaviest snow has stopped by this afternoon. The heavy snow we have now will taper off to afternoon snow showers and will remain windy, which means drifting snow could be a big problem today.
The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard warning for tonight that covers most of the Tri-State. The warning is in effect from 6PM tonight until noon Wednesday.
Snowfall amounts could be between 8 and 12 inches in the Evansville area
