Today I got the immense honor of interviewing one of the best of all time.  In my opinion, Garth Brooks is the best artist to ever make music, and after 14 years away, he's back out on tour.  We talk about why things change on stage when Trisha comes out, how Garth tried to look like a 'Badass,' and why 27 years from now has significance.

Earlier today, I had a chance to sit down with Evansville Police Chief Billy Bolin to discuss ShotSpotter, a new technology that could help curb gun violence.

It's been 3 years since Glen Templeton was here for Taste of Country at Ellis Park, and since then he's been working hard on making new music.  I had a chance to chat with Glen today, about his new project!

Jason Michael Carroll will be at the Gibson County Fairground on August 30th to support Gibson County Gives Back, a charity set up to help many local families dealing with sick children and increasing medical expenses.  I had a chance to talk to Jason about his passion for helping children, his live show, and his amazing fan base.

The Sandy Lee Watkins Songwriters Festival was last week in downtown Henderson KY. We had Nashville songwriters, Kerry Kurt Phillips and Jason Mathews in our studio Wednesday morning. Friday morning, mega hit songwriter, Wynn Varble, entertained us with a hilarious song he wrote!

The Liquid Ninja Big O Music Fest is next weekend, August 16th!  Hank Williams Jr. will headline this huge lineup this year at Reid's Orchard in Owensboro.  Also on the bill is new artist, JT Hodges, a Texas boy who has music in his blood!

The Sandy Lee Watkins Songwriters' Festival may be in the books for 2014, but I love to look back at some of the awesome guests that were in the Tri-State with us including new duo Lo-Fi.  Jamie Teachenor and Joe West are accomplished songwriters who are now pursuing a career together as performers.  Hear my chat with them here.
