X-Men, The Prequel

In an already jam-packed summer movie season, director Matthew Vaughn hopes to impress audiences with his latest movie, 'X-Men: First Class,' a reboot of the Marvel movie series that takes fans back to the beginning (or in this case, the Cold War-era '60s).

Already, the film has impressed critics; it currently has over a 95 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. But will audiences flock to see it in theaters? We'll know in a few days.

Rock Of Ages Movies Coming Out With Big Names

 

Today, director Adam Shankman tweeted a brand-new photo from the set of his new movie, 'Rock of Ages,' featuring a never before seen glimpse of stars Alec Baldwin and Russell Brand in full-on rock mode. 

In the movie, set during the '80s, Baldwin plays Dennis Dupree, an aging rocker who is now the owner of club The Bourbon Room. Brand, meanwhile, plays Dennis' right-hand man, Lonny, who also serves as the story's narrator.

‘Grease’ Star Dies

During my early teenage years, I was THE biggest fan of 'Greaase' and all things involving the fifties. I'm extremely sad to report that ,after years of battling addiction, 'Grease' and 'Taxi' star Jeff Conaway died Friday after falling into a coma two weeks ago, TMZ is reporting. He was 60.

Conaway was known for his role as Kenickie in the 1978 movie-musical 'Grease.' From 1978-1981, he also played Bobby Wheeler on the sitcom 'Taxi,' earning a Golden Globe nomination along the way before leaving the series after its third season.
