St. Jude is a totally unique patient experience. It is the only national cancer institute comprehensive cancer center that takes care of children only.

Tomorrow and Friday we air our St. Jude Radiothon. Right now, you can help by making a bid on one of our autographed auction items. One of those it items is a Luke Bryan stand up cut out. Eric interviewed 'Luke Bryan' about his excitement leading up to the day he goes home with the highest bidder. Take a look! ;-)

Once again this year, Chili's Restaurants are taking all day today to donate their profits to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  As of last year, the company had donated a total of $50 million to St. Jude and the mission continues!

It was another great Songs for St. Jude concert Friday night as Dylan Scott and his band came to Hawg N Sauce in Mt. Vernon to play for the fans and help us raise funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

WKDQ has been conducting a contest to design our new t-shirt, and we have a winner.  Myself and Ryan O'Bryan from Kiss FM visited Chip's Inc. in Fort Branch to see the first shirts coming off the presses.  Check out the video to see the new design and find out who won!

A big thanks to Joanna Smith and Clare Dunn for performing last Friday night at Hawg N Sauce as we raised more cash for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  It was another big night, as we took in over $1000 for the kids, and finished off the night with lots of karaoke, drinks, and BBQ celebrating the 5th Anniversary of Hawg N Sauce!

This Friday, it's another Songs For St. Jude Free Concert at Hawg N Sauce in Mt. Vernon, as two of Nashville's budding female singer/songwriters will perform on the patio!  JoAnna Smith and Clare Dunn are coming to Mt. Vernon, but before they do, check out their past performances right here in the WKDQ studios!

This year we are bringing great live music to Hawg N Sauce BBQ in Mt. Vernon.  The shows are free to get in, but we'll be accepting donations for St. Jude and 10% of all food and beverage sales go to the charity as well.  Our second show in the series will be JoAnna Smith with Clare Dunn, Friday night, June 13th at 7:30pm!
