July 30, 2012 One of Evansville's biggest and most authentic festivals in our history, Volksfest, kicks off this Thursday August 2nd through Saturday August 4th at Germania Maennerchor at 11am. This year's Volksfest marks 50 years of Gemuetlichkeit, food including the famous Kraut Balls, fun and friends. Open from 11am - midnight all three days, there is no admission charge until 5pm.

July 17, 2012 If you missed the Monster X Tour last weekend at the Vanderburgh 4H Fairgrounds you missed some crazy action. There were high-flying motocross riders, quad racing, and of course the Monster Trucks. It was a scary moment when one of the tracks took off for a jump and rolled, landing on its roof.
July 17, 2012 You could hear the roar from the 4H Fairgrounds Friday and Saturday night, as the Monster X Tour roared back to town. Several Monster Trucks were on hand to show off their freestyle skills, plus there were motocross demonstrations, and quad racing.
