Fresh garden tomatoes... the thought of the plump, juicy, red deliciousness turns me into Pavlov's dogs. And you just can't duplicate them in a green house. I didn't have time to get down to the Historic Newburgh Farmer's market this weekend, so I found an alternative in Newburgh that's also open throughout the week and offer varied fruits, vegetables, melons, honey, and gourds.

There are lots of recipes for strawberry shortcake and apparently different ways to eat it too! Both Mike and I enjoy the Bisquick recipe shortcake, but, we don't share the same way to eat it.
